Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your relationship with the operator of thisisvegass.com ("thisisvegas") and set out the rules for use of the gaming services offered to Australian residents. Effective date: 01 January 2025.

Definitions

Player: A User who has successfully registered for an account and is eligible to participate in games or place bets.
Bet: A wager of monetary value (AUD or equivalent) placed by a Player according to game rules offered on the platform.
Bonus: Any promotional credit or offer provided by the Operator, subject to specific wagering requirements and conditions.
Wager: The act of staking real or bonus funds on a game outcome.
Account: The personal online profile established by a User to access and use the platform's services.
KYC: "Know Your Customer" procedures requiring Users to verify identity, age, residency, and source of funds before certain account actions.
Promotion: Any time-bound campaign or incentive program communicated by thisisvegass.com.

Account Registration

Eligibility and Age Verification

Minimum Age: Users must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to gamble under applicable Australian law. The Operator reserves the right to request evidence of age at any time.

Registration Process

User Obligations & Security

Accurate Data: Users are responsible for providing and maintaining truthful, complete, and up-to-date account information at all times.
Password Security: Users must keep their login credentials confidential and immediately notify Customer Support in case of suspected unauthorized access.
Single Account Policy: Only one account per person, household, IP address, device, and payment method is permitted. Duplicate accounts may be closed, and associated funds forfeited.

Betting & Gameplay Rules

Placing Bets

Minimum/Maximum Bets: The applicable minimum and maximum bet limits are clearly displayed for each game. Bets outside of these limits are not accepted or may be voided.
Types of Bets: Bet types vary according to game category (e.g., slots, table games, live casino, etc.), as specified within each game's information page.
Accepted Currencies: All bets must be placed in AUD or other currencies explicitly accepted on thisisvegass.com.

Bet Modification & Cancellation

Irrevocability: Once a bet is confirmed, it cannot be amended, withdrawn, or cancelled by the Player. Operator may only void bets due to technical errors, manifest errors, or breaches of Terms.
Refunds: In cases of game malfunction or systemic failure, the specific bet(s) affected may be voided at Operator's sole discretion, and the stake may be returned to the Player's account. Bonuses may not be refundable except where required by law.

Conduct in Live Casino & Chat

Prohibited Behaviour: Abusive language, threats, harassment, spamming, solicitation, or attempts to manipulate game outcomes (including the use of bots or unauthorized software) are strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension or closure.
Anti-Collusion & Fair Play: Any evidence of collusion, cheating, or fraudulent activity will result in voiding of bets, forfeiture of winnings, and possible legal action.

Bonus Terms

Bonus Activation

Eligibility: Bonuses and promotions, including free spins or credits, are available only to Users who fulfill eligibility criteria and opt in as instructed by thisisvegass.com.
Activation Process: Most bonuses require acceptance during deposit or via designated promotional codes, as stated in the relevant promotion terms.

Wagering Requirements

Standard Wager: Bonuses are subject to mandatory wagering requirements, e.g., 35x the bonus amount unless otherwise stated. All requirements must be met within 2025 or the timeframe specifically stated in each promotion's published terms.
Eligible Games: Only selected games contribute towards wagering requirements; excluded games are listed in promotional terms. Bets placed on ineligible games do not count and may forfeit the bonus.

Prohibited Actions

Abuse Prevention: Practices deemed as bonus abuse (e.g., low-risk betting, using multiple accounts, or attempting to circumvent terms) are strictly forbidden and may result in ban and confiscation of bonus and winnings.
Promotion Stacking: Only one bonus may be active at a time unless explicitly allowed; combining promotions is not permitted.

Payments & Withdrawals

Deposit & Withdrawal Methods

Accepted Payment Methods: thisisvegass.com accepts major credit/debit cards, leading e-wallets, supported cryptocurrencies, and any other payment options as displayed in the cashier section.
Account Ownership: Deposits and withdrawals must be performed via payment instruments registered in the User's name. Third-party payments are strictly prohibited.

Limits, Fees, and Processing Times

Deposit/Withdrawal Limits: Minimum and maximum deposit and withdrawal amounts apply and are stated in the Payments section. Per-transaction or periodic limits may apply pursuant to AML/CTF laws.
Processing Times: Deposits are typically credited instantly; withdrawals may require verification and are generally processed within 1-5 business days after approval. Delays caused by KYC procedures, payment provider reviews, or regulatory requirements may occur.
Fees: thisisvegass.com does not charge fees for most standard transactions. If applicable, any fees will be transparently disclosed before the transaction is initiated.

Refunds & Bonus Handling

Refunds: Refunds for deposited funds, bets, or bonuses will only be granted under exceptional circumstances, subject to Operator approval and compliance with applicable laws and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.
Bonus Funds: Bonus credits are non-withdrawable until full compliance with stated wagering requirements is achieved and will expire if not used within the applicable validity period (no later than 31 December 2025 unless otherwise specified).
Currency & Exchange: All transactions are conducted in AUD or equivalently supported currencies. Conversion charges, if any, are borne by the User.

Limitation of Liability

Operator's Responsibilities: The Operator undertakes to provide services with reasonable care and skill, ensure game fairness through certified RNG, and display accurate game outcomes in accordance with current regulations.
Liability Exclusions: The Operator shall not be liable for:
- Interruptions, delays, or failures caused by technical issues, force majeure, ISP failure, device incompatibility, or maintenance downtime;
- Errors or omissions in published content or odds, unless arising from gross negligence or wilful misconduct;
- User or third-party actions outside Operator's control.
Maximum Compensation: Regardless of cause, the maximum liability of the Operator to a User shall not exceed the total amount of the original bet or wager giving rise to the claim.
User Responsibility: Users are solely responsible for ensuring lawful participation and for any losses incurred.

Intellectual Property Rights

Content Ownership: All website content, software, trademarks, graphics, designs, databases, and any proprietary materials on thisisvegass.com are the copyright of the Operator or licensed third parties.
Restrictions: Users may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, publish, transmit, modify, or commercially exploit any content, software, or code from the website without the express written permission of the Operator.
Infringement: Any violation of these rights may result in termination of account, forfeiture of winnings, and possible legal action.

Privacy & Data Protection

All personal data collected on thisisvegass.com is processed in accordance with Australian privacy laws and the Operator's Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. By registering or using the site, Users consent to the collection, storage, and use of data as detailed in the Privacy Policy and as necessary to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, including AML, KYC, and responsible gambling requirements.

Changes to Terms

Notification: The Operator reserves the right to amend or update these Terms at any time. Notice of material changes will be provided via User email (as registered) or by a prominent banner on the website.
Continued Use: Continued use of thisisvegass.com following notification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If a User disagrees with any updated Terms, their sole remedy is to discontinue use and request account closure in accordance with the Termination section.

Termination & Suspension

Grounds for Action: The Operator may suspend or terminate a User's account if:
- There are reasonable grounds to suspect a breach of these Terms, bonus abuse, fraud, underage gambling, or other unlawful conduct;
- KYC documentation is not provided when requested;
- Activity appears to violate AML/CTF regulations or responsible gambling policies.
Procedure: The User will be notified of account suspension or closure via the registered email address or other contact information provided by the User.
Funds Handling: Legitimate balances, excluding funds resulting from violation of these Terms, will be returned to the User by a mutually agreed withdrawal method, subject to KYC completion and regulatory constraints.
Appeals: Users may appeal a decision by contacting Customer Support within 30 calendar days of notification.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Applicable Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Curacao and, as applicable, the laws of Australia for customers resident in Australia, subject to mandatory protections under Australian consumer and gambling laws.
Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Curacao, except where local laws require otherwise.
Dispute Resolution Mechanism:
- Disputes should first be raised with the Operator's Customer Support team. If unresolved within a reasonable timeframe, Users may escalate the query to the licensed Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider specified in the full complaint procedure published on thisisvegass.com.
- Nothing in this clause limits User rights to pursue statutory remedies available under Australian law where applicable.

Regional Compliance Note: Australian residents have the right to contact the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) and seek independent legal advice if a dispute is not resolved to their satisfaction.
